The Foundation Room is a very sexy private club in AC . The decor is a mix of Hindu deities and intimate prayer rooms. ArtChick was invited by DJ Cinful to spend the day and have a photo shoot at the club, then catch her a bit later spinning, the extra bonus was two fold first we also got to meet lead off DJ Lea Luna and shoot her as well as DJ Cinful. ArtChick and l got treated by DJ Cinful to the "Craig Ferguson Show" at the House of Blues. We are huge fans of Craig and it was great to see him out later that night to catch the two female Dj's in action.


Dj Lea Luna and Dj Cinful each have there own very sexy brand of House Music. Dj Lea Luna is more of harder driving electronic house, while Dj Cinful is a bit more vocal and soulful. Dj Lea Luna got into spinning in the underground rave scene .She has spun in clubs such as Avalon in NYC and B.E.D in Miami.

DJ Cinful has played at an impressive list of venues across the country; including the Foundation Room in Vegas, Space in Miami, and Avalon in NYC and the Playboy Mansion in L.A. The Foundation Room in AC is a very intimate setting and doesn't often host female DJ's let alone 2 on the same night. It seemed a perfect fit for Dj Cinful's brand of hypnotic vocal house with its rich sultry vibe.

AUSTIN, TEXAS TOUR REVIEW

To Kick of the 2007 ArtChick Female DJ Tour ,we made our way down to Austin Tx for an event called Redezvous , created by BuckleUp Entertainment.This is how BuckleUp Entertainment describes itself:

The place, Karma Lounge 119 w 8th street .Karma is a large space all black highlighted with very sexy subtle red tones. Waveform added a very impressive special effects and laser light show featuring an all female DJ line up:

-Kathy Russell (Manifest and Drum N Bass) of Austin
-Snow White (Trance and House ) of Dallas
-JayNicole (Breaks) of Austin
-Sarah Styles (Breaks) of Austin
-Dizzy (DSC/House and Electro) of San Antonio


Austin is the home of the state capital and the home of the Texas long horns of the University of Texas. Austin is known as a hippie town and for it’s off beat ways. The underground Rave craze hit its zenith here in the late 1990’s and still inspires much of the club life around town.

The event was billed as a pajama party and about ½ the party goers participated. The 5 Texas Divas started off around 10pm and played until sometime around 5am. The Ladies came at you full force from the very first minute. The freaky cold didn’t dampen the intensity on this night, nor did the freezing rain stop some very enthusiastic party goers from filling the place. Although the party didn’t really get going till 12:30, I was surprised to see so many early birds arrive to the party before 10 and stay till well after 4am. The Rave inspired styles of the DJ were generally more rock based than their east cost counterparts who often have more soulful inspired interpretations of house music. Party goes jammed the space in front of the DJ booth cheering on their favorite DJ’s. 2007 ArtChick Female DJ Tour was very inspired and this party and it puts BuckleUp Entertainment in the fore front and the leader of the Austin party scene. The 2007 ArtChick Female DJ Tour will defiantly be back to Austin.

Rendezvous Jammy Jam January 13th @ Karma Lounge, Austin, Texas

My partner and I will be flying out from New Jersey Saturday Morning, Jan 13th, 2006 and will be arriving at 8:05pm. We leave Sunday Morning at 9:30am. I'm very proud and excited to begin my tour with DJ JayNicoles' Buckup Ent. Event, which involves FIVE TALENTED Texas DJ Divas. Female DJ Lineup for this event are:

New Years 2007 @ Taste Lounge

Taste offered a great value for New Years this year for a little under $100 you got to eat and drink from 8pm till 3am and listen to DJ’s Anthony Coogs, Mike Lodato and Victor Sawicki . The music ranged from house to old school R&B and trust me no one missed a beat. A sophisticated classy atmosphere Taste offers club goers a chance to party in a no hassle friendly intimate environment. Taste lounge has become the place for New Jersey club goers who want to stay local and not deal with big city attitude or parking problems. Improved lighting and a super hot crowd makes Taste Lounge one of the hottest party spots in northern jersey. The party was still going strong at 3am and in even a packed house you don’t have to wait long for drinks. The red hue of the club offers an excellent back drop for picture taking. ArtChick opted to tell the new year’s celebration story in black and white over color letting us look back to 2006 as the past.
