EVENTS GONE BAD

Ok since its come up lately, folks lets be serious if you want ArtChick to come out and shoot you, you have to have your act together. ArtChick is one of the hottest night club photographers around period shooting over 1000 images a week, so it is a good idea to not waste her time.

The recent spate of lame ass female DJ’s behaving in a totally unprofessional matter is not cool at all. Most of the Female DJ’s have been talented and an outstanding pleasure to work with. However a few of you need a lesson in simple common courtesy. Perhaps you were a feral child or raised by wolves but manners are not an option. So as for the camera shy Patricia Starr (http://www.myspace.com/djpatriciastarr) playing a CD or the totally rude and oblivious Shaka23 (http://www.myspace.com/djshaka23) there won’t be a second chance. Ladies I have seen your pic’s and I am sorry for you but ArtChick would blow away anything to have, so to bad for you.

NEW TOUR SIGN UP RULES

ARTCHICK FEMALE DJ TOUR SIGN UP RULES

So far my Photography Female DJ Tour has been up and down. I have to say some female DJ's are very professional, some are frauds, and others are not professional.

In either case because I have run into some duds I've decided to create a set of rules for participants. These rules are very reasonable and are only here to protect myself and you.

You will recieve high quality images taken by a professional, exposure on ArtChickPhotos.com, & reviews for press. To partipate in this tour you must be a Professional Female DJ & provide the following:

1) Provide dates of event/s you would like ArtChick to Cover a month in advanced.

2) Provide signatures of all partipants involved in your event, giving ArtChick permission to photograph the event, post images on her website (ArtChickPhotos.com), and hand out her promotional cards to guest.

3) Print & Sign the 'Tour Contract' & mail it to: PO BOX 213, Ridgewood, NJ 07451, with a Non-Refundable Registration Fee of $100, payable to:

DJ Lexey @ Katra Review

A mix of old school and new Hip Hop with a twist of Eighties, Rock ,Disco and House ,DJ Lexey knows how to read a crowd and can get even the most hardened wall flower on their feet. DJ Lexey spun for a packed house at Katra on Tuesday Night .Katra is an intimate Moroccan themed Restaurant and Lounge located down town on 217 Bowery in NYC.



The monthly event at Katra is called Passion Tuesdays and is hosted by Peter Morris and resident DJ Pookie Johnson. Guests were also treated to lingerie Open Shoot and Fashion Show by Donna L’oren. Separately the ArtChick Models and their friends were out in full force controlling the dance floor for most of the evening. DJ Lexey at first comes off a bit old school but as the evening progresses her mixes blend many different styles in a very sophisticated manner. Fans of Lexey seem to gravitate more towards soulful as well as hard core hip hop melodies, were she mixes old favorites with something new in seamless fashion. Giving club goers a comfort zone but pushing the envelope just enough too always keep it interesting. For Club goers DJ lexey is a non stop dance party with the energy level constantly rising and the beats just keep on coming.
