Dj Roxxia Review @ Teak

Dj Roxxia debut at Teak was a home run for the ArtChick Female DJ Tour. Recently back from Miami Roxxia spun with confidence mixing her special blend of hard house sounds, as well as the soul-altering melodies, deep driven bass, and pure driven energy House Music. Everything about her mixing has roots in her early years in the underground scene, yet her music is very excess able to even the most novice clubber.



Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Nancy Grunwald, who is better known as DJ Roxxia had been no stranger to the underground scene. Clubs, underground raves and house .Spending most of her leisurely time in record stores; this girl became very determined to let here spirit take over. She began her quest into the cavernous, yet, intriguing clubs and after-hours in NYC. Little Louie Vega on,Wednesday night at Sound Factory Bar would further her inspiration, as well as the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez and Armand van Helden. They would become her mentors at the time. Many nights at Limelite and Danceteria, as well as many unknown after-hours clubs fueled her passion and energy for the night life even more House music.

She will be back to Teak on July 26th, 2007.
